History

The Fort Resolution School operated as a mission school and opened in 1903, with the main school building not constructed until about 1910. Following the closing of the school in December 1957, staff and students were transferred to Breynat Hall in Fort Smith, NWT. The School operated from 1903-1957 and was run by the Roman Catholic Church.
