Beauval Indian Residential School operated from 1895-1995 and was operated by the Missionary Oblates and Grey Nuns. The School was located in Treaty 6 territory in numerous locations, including: Petequakey’s Reserve, Carlton Agency; and in McKenzie River District/Carlton Agency. The school, after moving from Ile-à-la-Crosse, was located south of the La Plonge Indian Reserve No. 192 and at the junction of La Plonge and Beaver Rivers. The School operated from 1897-1995.
