Round Lake Indian Residential School (IRS) was situated at the East end of Round Lake, on the Northside of the Qu’Appelle River. It operated from 1887 – 1950 and was run by the Presbyterian Church in Canada and the United Church of Canada.

Students from the following communited attended the school: Kahkewistahaw, White Bear, Carry the Kettle, Sakimay, Ochapowace, and Cowessess.
