Collection comprises news releases, information sheets, and publications produced by the Assembly of First Nations.

Susie Kicknosway Jones fonds

Fonds comprises photographs compiled by Susie Kicknosway Jones of her time at Shingwauk Indian Residential School. Fonds also includes photographs of Susie's time after Shingwauk and the Shingwauk Reunions.

Shingwauk Project collection

Collection comprises material generated or collected by the Shingwauk Project staff and participants. Collection includes photographs, correspondence, newspaper clippings, reports, student newspapers, interview transcriptions, audio recordings, project outlines, meeting minutes, photo albums, and other material.

Fonds comprises records pertaining to the Pine family, with particular emphasis on photographs and documents about Dan Pine.

Claire Martin collection

Collection comprises photographs of students and activities taken during Claire Martin's time at the Shingwauk Indian Residential School.  Collection also includes a copy of her school diploma and a biography of Claire Martin, written by Gerry Martin. 

Collection comprises sounds and moving image records relating to the Shingwauk Project and more broadly First Nation, Inuit, and Métis history and culture. Includes audio cassettes, compact discs, VHS tapes, DVDs, and other material.

Collection comprises educational materials collected by Carol Trudeau in her work as an Indigenous education lead in the Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario community.

Indian Affairs collection

Collection comprises records created by the Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development pertaining to residential schools and the administration of First Nation affairs. Collection comprises eight series, including : Access to information requests series, Annual reports series, Central registry files series, Control number data files series, Headquarters files series, Information sheet series, List number data files series, School files series, Treaty series. These series contain a variety of material including: correspondence, letters, transcripts, annual reports, data files, access to information requests, central registry files and other material.

Stacy-Lee Sauve-Clark collection

Collection comprises pencil sketches by Stacy-Lee Sauve-Clark of the residential schools that existed in Spanish, Ontario.  Collection also includes a single copy of Katonik Anishinabe Enakmigak (1948) and four window frames from St. Charles Garnier Indian Residential School (Spanish, Ontario).

Nishnawbe Aski Nation collection

Fonds comprises material relating to the activities of Nishawbe Aski Nation. Fonds includes correspondence, documents, resources, and other material. Fonds also includes photographs collected by NAN relating to a number of residential schools.

Ken Ingle fonds

Fonds comprises letters, estate documentation, and publications about the Ingle family, Sault Ste Marie, and the Shingwauk Indian Residential School.

Ruth A. Cox-Ingle fonds

Fonds comprises three series, the Residential School documents and photographs series, the Cox-Ingle memorial series, and the Anglican parish newsletter series. The first series contains material from Ruth and Fred Cox's time working in Residential Schools. This includes music books, a copy of "Shingwauk Hall" by Fred B. Ingle, and photographs of from Ruth Ingle's time working in residential schools. Photographs include students, staff, and activities at Shingwauk Indian Residential School, Fort George Indian Residential School, and Ruth's time training in Chapleau.

The second series comprises material created during the establishment, development, and implementation of the Ruth and Fred Ingle Memorial collection and fund. The series includes a number of photographs from a photo identification trip taken to Fort George by Don Jackson. The final series comprises Anglican Church monthly newsletters from parishes attended by Ruth Cox-Ingle including St. John's Parish Monthly, Church of St. John the Baptist Parish Monthly, and the Eskimo publications.

Glenn Jourdain fonds
Fonds comprises material relating to St. Marguerite's Indian Residential School and to persons living around Fort Francis Ontario. Fonds includes correspondence, birth records, photographs, family histories, and other material. 
Artwork collection

Collection comprises Indigenous artwork, artwork purchased, collected, or donated to the Shingwauk Project. Includes: paintings, sketches, professional photography, drawings, and audio-visual material.

Collection comprises photographs of Joseph Dodge and Charles Srney.
Don MacGregor collection

Collection comprises photographs and newspaper clippings relating to the Shingwauk Chiefs basketball team. Collection includes a beaded medallion that belonged to Donald MacGregor.

Spanish Residential Schools Reunion collection

Collection comprises photographs and video footage of the 1988 and 2012 Spanish Indian Residential School Reunions, held in Spanish Ontario.

E. Jane Mundy collection

Collection comprises moving images depicting the Spanish Indian Residential Schools and the Honouring Our Voices Cape Croker Conference. Collection also includes photographs and negatives of photography done by E. Jane Mundy.  These photographs depict elders, community events, and traditional skills in Indigenous communities in Ontario.

Mildred Young Hubbert collection

Collection comprises slide photographs of people, buildings and places regarding the Shingwauk Residential School and other Residential Schools in Ontario. All photographs were taken by Mildred Young Hubbert.

Collection comprises research notes, research material, and writing compiled and created by Mark Solomon in relation to the Shingwauk and Wawanosh Indian Residential Schools. The majority of this collection was compiled by Mark Solomon in 2003 when he was working on his Master's thesis.

Dorothy Martin Currie fonds

Fonds comprises photographs and textual records relating to the Shingwauk Indian Residential School. Photographs include students, staff, and buildings. Textual records include written accounts of experiences at the Shingwauk Indian Residential School.

Bernice Logan fonds

Fonds comprises "The Teaching Wigwam" publications written by Bernice Logan. Fonds also includes photographs of students and staff from Indian Residential Schools where Bernice Logan taught.

Children of Shingwauk Alumni Association fonds

Fonds comprises records received, generated and used by CSAA. Includes general documentation, reports, correspondence, project summaries, job descriptions, grant proposals, newsletters, negatives and other material.

Fonds comprises  records documenting Professor Don Jackson's activities as a faculty member at Algoma University College and later Algoma University and as the founding director of the Shingwauk Project.  Includes minutes and reports of committees, faculty correspondence, grant applications, departmental memorandum, research records, and other materials.

Sandra Owl fonds

Fonds comprises material written by and about Sandra Owl regarding her time at the Shingwauk Indian Residential School.

Donald Harris Sands fonds

Fonds comprises photographs of Donald Sands and family and textual records relating to Indian Residential Schools. Photographs are of the Shingwauk Indian Residential School, the Shingwauk reunions, and social gatherings. Textual records include articles, correspondence, and excerpts of academic literature.
