Artifact collection

Collection comprises artifacts collected by the Shingwauk Project and the Shingwauk Residential Schools Centre.  Includes beadwork, small artifacts, items that were part of the former Shingwauk Residential School, and textile works.

Ruth A. Cox-Ingle fonds

Fonds comprises three series, the Residential School documents and photographs series, the Cox-Ingle memorial series, and the Anglican parish newsletter series. The first series contains material from Ruth and Fred Cox's time working in Residential Schools. This includes music books, a copy of "Shingwauk Hall" by Fred B. Ingle, and photographs of from Ruth Ingle's time working in residential schools. Photographs include students, staff, and activities at Shingwauk Indian Residential School, Fort George Indian Residential School, and Ruth's time training in Chapleau.

The second series comprises material created during the establishment, development, and implementation of the Ruth and Fred Ingle Memorial collection and fund. The series includes a number of photographs from a photo identification trip taken to Fort George by Don Jackson. The final series comprises Anglican Church monthly newsletters from parishes attended by Ruth Cox-Ingle including St. John's Parish Monthly, Church of St. John the Baptist Parish Monthly, and the Eskimo publications.

Shingwauk Indian Residential School collection

Fonds comprises records collected by the Shingwauk Project and Shingwauk Residential Schools Centre which document the history of the Shingwauk Residential School.  Fonds includes administrative records, quarterly returns, student records, property records, correspondence, and reports.

Ken Ingle fonds

Fonds comprises letters, estate documentation, and publications about the Ingle family, Sault Ste Marie, and the Shingwauk Indian Residential School.

Viv Atkinson fonds
Fonds comprises photographs of activities at Sault Ste Marie, the St. Mary Rapids, and the Shingwauk Indian Residential School.
Stacy-Lee Sauve-Clark collection

Collection comprises pencil sketches by Stacy-Lee Sauve-Clark of the residential schools that existed in Spanish, Ontario.  Collection also includes a single copy of Katonik Anishinabe Enakmigak (1948) and four window frames from St. Charles Garnier Indian Residential School (Spanish, Ontario).

Collection comprises a death register from McIntosh Indian Residential School and a photograph of Saul Day during his time at Residential School.

Georgia Ellen Kirkpatrick fonds

Fonds comprises photographs of students, staff, buildings, and activities at the Shingwauk Indian Residential School from 1923-1926.

Indian Affairs collection

Collection comprises records created by the Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development pertaining to residential schools and the administration of First Nation affairs. Collection comprises eight series, including : Access to information requests series, Annual reports series, Central registry files series, Control number data files series, Headquarters files series, Information sheet series, List number data files series, School files series, Treaty series. These series contain a variety of material including: correspondence, letters, transcripts, annual reports, data files, access to information requests, central registry files and other material.

St. Margaret's Indian Residential School (Fort Frances, Ont.) collection

Collection comprises records documenting the activities St. Margaret's Indian Residential School (Fort Fances, Ont.).  Inc;udes hymnals, books of prayers, and Oblate Fathers centenary booklet.

Jesuits in English Canada collection

Collection comprises records from the Jesuits of English Canada in relation to their administration of the Residential Schools in Spanish, Ontario.  Collection includes photographs, newsletters, reports, correspondence, and additional administrative records.

Dolly Creighton fonds

Fonds comprises photographs of the people, buildings, and activities at the Blood Reserve in Alberta, Canada. Fonds also includes photographs students at St. Paul's Anglican Mission.

Shingwauk Project collection

Collection comprises material generated or collected by the Shingwauk Project staff and participants. Collection includes photographs, correspondence, newspaper clippings, reports, student newspapers, interview transcriptions, audio recordings, project outlines, meeting minutes, photo albums, and other material.

Collection comprises textual records and graphic material relating to the family of James Graham Butchart and Mary Jane Moore.
Collection comprises photographs of people and activities at Wikwemikong First Nation.
Margaret L. Botterell collection
Collection comprises photographs of students, staff, and activities at the Shingwauk Residential School.

Collection comprises research notes, research material, and writing compiled and created by Mark Solomon in relation to the Shingwauk and Wawanosh Indian Residential Schools. The majority of this collection was compiled by Mark Solomon in 2003 when he was working on his Master's thesis.

Benna Fuller fonds

Fonds consists of photographs of staff, students, and activities at the Shingwauk and Wawanosh Indian Residential Schools. Fonds also comprises photographs of friends and family of the Fullers. Fonds includes loose photographs, a photo album, and a scrapbook containing Benna Fuller's postcard collection.

John Edmonds collection
Collection comprises photographs of St. Thomas Parish buildings and local clergy.
Jane Simpson collection

Collection comprises material collected by Jane Simpson in the course of her work as a residential school teacher at  to St John's Indian Residential School (Chapleau, Ont.) and Pelican Lake Residential School (Sioux Lookout, Ont.).  Some of the material was created by the students and given as gifts.  Includes correspondence with students and photographs of students and activities.

Anglican Church of Canada General Synod Archives residential school photograph collection

Collection comprises material that document the activities at the residential and day schools in Canada operated by the Anglican Church of Canada. Collection includes photographic reproductions.

Shingwauk Indian Residential School fonds

Fonds comprises records relating to the administration of the Shingwauk Indian Resdiential School.  Includes principal letter books, annual reports, financial records, photographs, printing press materials, Indian Homes Committee records, and other material.
